Home Industry Food Reviews- Iftaar

Iftaar for a fasting individual is about replenishing the body with essential nutrients. ♨️🍲

Whilst it can be tempting to over indulge, we try to keep things as simple as possible.👌😎

‘Iftaar’ is an Arabic word which literally translates as, ‘to break’ and in this context, ‘to break the day’s fast’. 🏡😇

Supporting home industries for this purpose is a great way to meet your needs, that can be healthy too.🏡♥️

Dates, yoghurt and fruit followed by the humble ‘haleem’ plate, bread and a maybe touch of meat is more than enough for us. 💐🤗

You will have enough fuel to enjoy your time on the ‘musallah’ (prayer mat) 🌷🏡♥️

Of the 3 home industries we ordered from thus far, ‘Lahori Khabbay’ have been fantastic.🌴🥘

It is run by Haya, a delightful housewife and talented cook. 🏡😎

Pictured is her bread stuffed with spicy chicken, baked on the day of delivery (105qr for 3 loaves). 😊🌅

In addition, Haya’s chicken Haleem is delivered, hot after clearly being slow-cooked to perfection. It is a total winner (60qr a kg). 🍲🏡

We love that ‘Lahori Khabbay’ serve generous ginger, chillies, coriander, lemon and fried onions alongside this classic haleem dish. Your family can then decide to plate, according to their taste. 🎉🍽️

Besides the outstanding quality of food, ‘Lahori Khabbay’ has neat packaging, delivery is on time (25qr) and Haya is both pleasant and able to speak great English.😇🎁

We love that she is on the ball, independent and doing it for herself!
